2415 Bowditch Street

Crossroads is the first green-certified building at UC Berkeley. Crossroads features many distinct dining options: various breakfast options and cereal bar, world cuisine, self service deli, salad bar (featuring as much organic produce as possible), comfort foods, vegetarian/vegan rotating options, grilled entrées, bakery and dessert selections, a variety of soups, and beverages. Crossroads serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner every weekday; brunch and dinner on the weekends, and a popular late night grill and study lounge Sunday – Thursday.

Crossroads houses The Den, a convenience store that features a Peet's Coffee & Tea.

The Bear Fit Station at Crossroads offers a nutritionally balanced, allergen and gluten friendly menu daily for lunch/brunch and dinner.

All menu items at Bear Fit are prepared without the top allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, eggs, milk, wheat,  sesame) and without gluten, pork, and alcohol.

In order to minimize cross-contact of allergens and gluten and keep Bear Fit allergen and gluten friendly, dining staff handles plates and bowls for guests.  A designated gluten-free toaster is also placed at the station to be accessed by customers.

In addition to being allergen and gluten friendly Bear Fit also strives for deliciousness by using fresh and minimally processed ingredients, including menu options such as Halal chicken and beef; plant proteins such as beans, lentils, and chickpeas; as well as salads and cooked vegetables.
