Please note for 2021-2022, Napkin Holder Advertising will not be offered.

Who can use napkin holder advertising?

To qualify for napkin holder advertising, applicants must be a registered student organization with the LEAD Center, or a sponsored Residence Hall Association group. For more information on campus registered student organizations, please visit lead.berkeley.edu.

What can I advertise?

Qualified events are allowed as long as the content and graphics are not offensive, political in nature, or referencing alcohol or drugs. Cal Dining has the right to reject any submission.

How long may I advertise?

Advertisements may be placed as long as 2 weeks, provided there is room in the schedule to accommodate advertisements. Priority will go to advertisements for important events occurring within 7-10 days.

How do I request a spot?

If you qualify for napkin holder advertising, please complete a short request through this form. Your submission will be reviewed, and if approved, you’ll be notified via email. Napkin holder advertising is generally reserved at least one full month in advance.

My advertising request was accepted. What size are the ads, and how many do I need to print?

Napkin holder advertisements must be 6.50″ wide x 4″ high. They must be printed on cardstock, one side only. Please print 370 ads in total, and then separate the quantities needed for each dining common: 100 for Crossroads, 70 for Café 3, 100 for Foothill, and 100 for Clark Kerr. Please drop them off a week before the advertising start date at Student Affairs Communications (RSSB 2610 Channing St., 4th Floor).
